FOG IN ENGLAND.
CAUSED COASTAL MISHAPS.
(BRITISH WIBELESS.) (Received November Bth, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 7. „ Practically the whole of Englgnd was enveloped jn fog yesterday, and traffic on the roads and railways' was much impeded in southern England. The fog lifted last night, but in the London area it recurred this morning, although it was less dense than yesterday and, pwing to a slight wind, it seemed unlikely to persist throughout the day. Despite precautions one or two minor mishaps occurred around the coasts. Btipping was held up, and during the dense fog off the East Coast a Lowestoft drifter collided with a vessel, some of the crew of the former having; a narrow escape. The drifter was aided into port by other boats which came to her assistance.
