Iftieir Excellencies the Governor' -General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson travelled by special train from ChHstchurcb to Fairiie, via Washdykfe Junction, yesterday, arriving at their destination at 11.37 a.m Lunch was partaken of at Fairiie, and the narty then went on to the Hermitage in a Bpecial car pro* vided by the Mi. Cook Motor Company.
