JUSTICES' ASSOCIATION.
..- ♦ ' A meeting of the Council of the' Canterbury Justices of tbe Peace Association .was held on Tuesday, Mr A. Williams presiding. Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M.. Wellington, wrote to the effect that he was publishing a second edition of the New Zealand Justices' Handbook. Mrs J. Farrell, Napier, wrote thanking the Council for having presented to the City a bust of the late Mr C. M. ® Messrs A. Williams. H. H. Smith, and J. R. Brunt were appointed delegates to the.Federal Conference of Justices to be held-iiJ New Plymouth in March next. Messrs A. Williams, P. R. Climie. and J. R. Brunt were appointed a committee to make arrangements for a members' visit to Lake Coleridge. And to report to the next council meeting, also to report with reference to the next members social.
