DANNEVIRKE, November 6. Railway traffle itt southern Hawke s Bav was completely dislocated to-<lay owinj* to a portidn Of the approach to the Makotnku railway viaduct, a tew chains fr'om the railway statjpn, being burned early this morning; No trains were able to pass over the bridge, necessitating the transhipment of passengers. Who #ere conveyed between Ormoridviile and Makdtuku by motorcar, twenty-five sleepers of the approach hrere destroyed, and the underStfucture also wtts badly damaged. Repair work is m progress, and tHe line may be open for traffic to-morrow. It is thought that a spark from a train last evening caused the fire.
