SUMNER DANCE.

The Sumner Association Football Club, held its first annual Bocial and dance on Saturday evening in the Redcliffs Community Ball. The function proved a great success, and it is intended to hold a series of social entertainments to keep the members m touch with one another between the seasons. The Social Committee consisted or the members of the teams, together with Mr and Mrs Philips, Mr and Mrs Cook, and Miss B. Browne. Excellent music was provided by Mr A. HunmbelPs Orchestra. The room was most attractively decorated in festoons of the club colours, red and black, and the programme included Monte Carlo and Leap Year dances, which were won by Miss Fluerty and Miss Bailey respectively.
