CONSOLIDATED SCHOOLS.
:T0 THB EDXTOB OF THE PEESS. Sir, —The Education Board-seems still to'favour consolidation, also they, are greatly in favour of open-air schools, as they consider it a great beneifit to the health of the children. But they ■think 'nothing of cramming oyer 30 children : into one bus to convey them to that school, the same bus being used, during school hours to cart anything, including: coal and manure and not even swept out before the children are taken homy in it. As one doctor remarked, the ~ school bus is a real germ incubator ana spreader of sickness. It is. an ■ argument by those in favour ol consolidation that the children get better, education. I can speak from experience i\nd say I have seen no better education. In fact, the children., do nor. get .the .individual teaching they get in the smaller schools.—Yours, etc., PARENT.
