Fleming, "My Life's Ideal" (Tosti), and another number as an encore. The quartet, "Uncle Rome" (Sidney . Homer) by ; Messrs Cookson,, Vincent, March, and Crbpj}, brought forth warm applause and they, responded with "They Saw Them Do It." Very successful were those popular members, Messrs W- J. Trewern and A. I*. Cropp in," the Suet, "I Wish ' to Tune my Sniveling Lyre" (M, Watson), and they fur. ler delighted " by .giving that perennial favourite* "Love and War," which was rendered with all the. necessary fire and expression; the . final portion- was #«peate§ in response td as entbiwaistic r«- . palf.
