(Received August 16th, 5.5 p.m.) DUBLIN, August 15i At the Tailteann (Nationalist) Irish sports, the 100 metres flat race resulted:—First heat: Warren (Canada) 1, Carlton (Australia) 2. Time 10 4-ssec. Knal--Warren 1, Pitzpatrick 2, Adams 3. All are Canadians. Time 16 3-ssec, equalling Abrahams* Olympic record. Warren, who is comparatively unknown, won by a foot. 800 metres final: Edwards (Canada) 1. He made the record Tailteann time of lmin 52 l-ssec. Whyte (Australia) was third. • . . The American, Joie Bay, won the Marathon of about' 23i miles, in 2hrs 3lmin.—Australian Press Association.
