The Australian delegates to the PanPacific' Conference eagerly questioned the Americans about the effects of ' Prohibition in the United States,, the American delegates declaring- that Prohibition' noticeably had benefited the working classes. They said that reports of so-called hip-flask drinking among the- young people were greatly exaggerated.—Australian Press Association.
