(Received July 15th, 6.5 p.m.) BERLIN, July 13,
"On no account shall children be fired at," says a new police decree that has been issued by the Prussian Minister for the Interior, pointing out that the police employ revolvers somewhat recklessly. They are entitled to tire if lives are in danger or an arrested criminal tries to escape after receiving the warning: "Hands up or I firel" It is hoped that the police will no longer fire to stop persons guilty or trivial offences from escaping.—Australian Press Association, United service.
