"COME TO MY HOUSE."

ANTONIO MORENO IN WORLDLY DRAMA.

CRYSTAL PALACE, TO-DAT. "Comß to My House" is a story based on an indiscretion, a matter of a few words spoken by an impetuous man to an "irresponsible girl. And in the couxße of its action it leaves the frivolous things severely alone, merely tolerates humour, and keeps well to the more dramatic side of things. "Come to My House" starß Olive Borden and Antonio Moreno, and will be the principal' attraction at the Crystal Palace Theatre this week. From a story by the well-known author, Arthur Somers Koche, it is, in many things, if not in essentials, completely different from the U6ual run of photoplay; if it has a character, such as the "hero" is, who ia not a model-of all the virtues and proprieties, such as are the usual ease in fiction, it does not endeavour to gloss over his human and often pleasant shortcomings; if the heroine is altogether too unconventional, and much too ' inclined to' snap her fingers at society, then the author never hesitates to mete out to them just . what the world wouldi in such circumstances. Not a little daring. "Come to My House" is of that precise typo of fare that the' modern public seeks, and appreciates. Miss Borden will undoubtedly gain many new admirers with "Come to Mv House," and Antonio Moreno is as successful with the feminine members of hiß audiences as ever he was. Louise Fazenda in the title role in Simple Sis" blows those blues away, e™" ,|J. ? ou have had them since early morning. Simple Sis" is the love Btory of a laundry maid and of n truck driver, and La i agenda is the cleansing one, and Clyde Cook, the Australian comedian, is the. controller of the four-wheel brakes.. As Sis, Miss lazenda has dispensed with the coy sophistication of "Cradle Bnatchers," and has reverted to her old flair for gorgeous and unadulterated slapstick, and she was never more riotous than as poor, simple Sis, who. however, at the finish, gets her man, even if ho is only a truck driver Myrna Loy. in a vampish part, gives a kick to proceedings. The Symphony Orchestra, under Mr Alfred Bunz, plays the following musical . programme:—Overture. "Jolly Robbers" (Suppe), "Nadesda (Ambrose Thomas). "The Golden Mask ' (£>tn ? ), "Popular Songs" (Teresa del Kiego). Side by Side" (Wood), "Paradise Isle (Pettis), "Autumn Gold" (Lohr). "Kingsford Smith (O'Hagan), "Ponchinenllo" (Holliday), On, What a Pal was Claude" (Knhn). -The boxplans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where seals may be reserved.
