SHIPPING NOTES.

The Cygnet is to be dispatched to-night with cargo for Kaikoura and Wellington. The /vennedy has been bar-bouna at Voxton, and it was hoped to dispatch her ou Saturday night for Lyttelton. She should arrive this morning, and will load for i'oxton. The Kennedy is. also timed to load here later in the week for the same port. The Storm was an arrival yesterday irom Timaru, and loads here to-day for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Tho Wingatui 6ailed from Auckland at 12 3a a.m. on Saturday for Lyttelton, and is 'expected here to-night. She is to sail to-morrow for Dunedin. _ The Tees came out of dock on Friday, and is to sail to-morrow with cargo for Wellington, Westport, and Greymouth. The Katoa arrived yesterday from Dunedin and Timaru. The Progress is at present due on Friday from Dunedin and Timaru to load for Wellington, New Plymouth, .and Waikato. The Holmdale iB an expected arrival tomorrow from the Bouth and takes in cargo here for Wellington and Wanganui.' The Kaitoke is expected to-morrow from Portland, Auckland, and Wellington, and should get away to-morrow night for Westport.-. . . The Kairanga is expected to-morrow evening from Wanganui. She is to sail on Wednesday, for Hobart and Newcastle. , The Port"Denison is to.sail, to-morrow for Wellington to complete loading. The arrival at London on Wednesday of the Turakina from New Zealand is reported.| She sailed from Wellington on June-7th. ' The Bemuera, en route from Southampton, arrived at Madeira "on. Company's old steamer Suva, is scheduled to .leave Sydney on July 25th. for Suva; and will maintain a regular threeweekly service. Once well known in. the intercolonial trade, the .Moeraki, which has a registered tonnago of 4421, was built, by Messrs Denny .8r05.,• and first arrived, at Wellington on December 12th, .1902.

ROTORUA ARRIVES. After .an. uneventful voyage, from London and Southampton, the Rotor.ua at Wellington late on. Friday night, and berthed a few minutes after' 9 o* clock' on ■• Saturday morning to land passengers and mails. .The Rotbrua sailed from Wellington on Saturday afternoon and arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning. She sailed from Southampton on Jurie Bth, and adverse weather was experienced for the first-two days. Panama was reached on June 23rd, and the vessel m led from Balboa the. following day. forPitcairn. Pine weather was experienced-until the vessel arrived at Pitcairn on July 3rd, but after that winds reached the force of a moderate gale, and head seas were encountered, ine Rotorua brought the following saloon passengers:—Mr .L.
