CHRISTCHURCH CLUB.

Under difficult weather conditions at Shirley on Saturday, a big Geld started in the bogey handicap, which was won, in the senior division, by K. W. Ballantyne with a cara ot 2 down, and in the junior division by E. M. Adams, whoso card was 6 dewjfl. ihe best cards were: fciE.xIORS.

the Campbell Chip, R. A. Wilson beat S. Gerard 5 and 4. The final will be played next Saturday between K. C. Abernethy and It. A. Wilson.

The last semi-final match in the captain's trophy was also played during the week-end, wben M. H. Godby beat 0. R. J. Ward, ♦ and 2. The final will be played next Saturday between B. C. Whitcombe and M. H. Godby. The Amberley Club team which visited Shirley during the week-end, were defeated by the local players. The teams were (Amberley players named first):—J. A. Mayo played L. H.
