NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL.
FOUNDATION STONE LAID
In spite of tho wintry weather there was a large attendance at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the new Methodist Sunday School in Edgeware road on Saturday afternoon. The Eev. S. J. Werren conducted the service, and expressed his pleasure at the large attendance. He also made reference to the great progress that the Church had made, especially in providing a fine new Sunday School. An address of welcome was also delivered by Mr A. Williams, who paid a warm tribute to the older members of the Church, who had done a great deal in placing it on the sound footing it was now. Other speakers were the Eev. L. B. Neale and the Rev. _W. Greensjade (chairman of the District) and one or two local ministers. The ceremony of laying thr stone was performed by Mrs G. Lucas and Mr H. Branthwaite, while the Rev. W. Baumber offered the prayer of dedication.
