Present indications are for uorthorly windsr moderate to strong generally, and reaching gala force at places, backing to southerlies soon; seas generally rough in New Zealand waters; strong winds to gales in the Tasman Sea, west to south-west in tho northern area, and southerlies in the central and southern areas, with generally rough to high seas; the weather still unsettled, cloudy, and misty, with further rain in most districts; some heavy falls in the South Island, and snow on the high country; temperatures becoming colder.
