A flag match was also played over the week-end and wag won by Capt. W. Murphy, who carried the flag to within five feet of the eighteenth hole. Gerard beat A. L. Cropp, 5 up and 3, and in the semi-final of the same competition, R. C. Abcrncthy boat F. G. Bristed 2 up. AVONDALE LADIES' CLUB. In the L.G.U. medal match played on Saturday afternoon, Miss I. Maindonald won in the sonior, while lliss J. Mathesun and Miss M. Johnston tied in the junior section. Miss Maindonald won Mi6s G.
