ONE-ARMED DRIVERS.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PEE S3. Sir,—l notice that the South Island Motor Union decided last night to confer with the North Island Union with a view to taking joint action in urging* the Government to amend its regulations precluding one-armed motorists obtaining drivers' licenses. Might I suggest that should the Government be so approached, they be also urged to delete the regulation making it an offence to drive with both hands off the steering wheel, otherwise I am afraid that one-armed drivers will be in for trouble when approaching our traffic policemen at City intersections. —lours, etc., ONE-EYED.
