ASSOCIATION.
EXECUTIVE MEETING. The executive of the Canterbury Football Association met last evening, those present being: Mr 0. H. Bascand (chairman), Messrs J. Burgess, F. Bennett, R. McLachlan, E. Lancaster, J. Jennings, 0. Keys, H. Smyth, 3. A. Robb, H. Jackson, Dr. Marks, J. Stout. and K. B. Bunt (secretary), Entries were received for the Chatham Oup from the following clubs:—Nomads, Western, Technical Old Boys, and Thistle. The secretary of tho Ohristchurch West District High School wrote stating that the committee were willing to allow two teams to play Soccer, on condition that competent teachers or coaches were with them at practices. The committee also expressed their appreciation of the executive's efforts to foster Soccer in the school. Owing to lack of players, the Western junior team advised that it had decided not to continue in the competition. Games for Saturday, Senior A (2.45 p.m.)— Nomads v. Thistle A (Hagley No. 3), Mr Wright; Spreydon v. Y.M.C.A. (Spreydon), Mr Kennedy; Brighton v. Thistle B (Bexley), Mr Ensor; Western v. Nomads (Hagley No. 1), Mr Cawthray.
