♦ FROM 1868 TO 1928. A record of the crowded days when the pioneers were founding the Borough of Kaiapoi, with some particulars of the life of the town in the middle of last century, and information as to its industries and municipal activities, will be contained in a supplement m The Press to-morrow, prepared in connexion with the Diamond Jubilee. Many aspects of the.growth of .the town will be touched upon, and the supplement should be of particular value to. those interested in the work of the various bodies which have assisted in the building up of Kaiapoi's reputation as the progressive and up-to-date centre of one of the most fertile farming districts in the Dominion. Extra copies of to-morrow's Press will be available from the Kaiapoi agents of the Company.
