MT. PLEASANT.
t WATER SUPPLY PROPOSAL. The question of the Mount Pleasant water supply was considered by t.lie Heathcote County Council at a meeting held recently. The Council has now decided to apply to tho Local Bodies Loans Board for permission to raise a loan of £I3OO for the purpose of erecting a pumping station and sinking wells on a section at AV'harncliffe street owned by the Council, and running a four-inch pipeline along Ferry road to the present Mount Pleasant pumping station.
