News from Los Angeles states that Hickman and Hunt have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder" of a chemist. [Hickman and Welby Hunt were found guilty of the murder of Ivy Thorns, a suburban chemist and druggist. Hickman confessed to the murder when in custody concerning the murder of the 12-year-old girl, Marion Parker, daughter of a Los Angeles banker.]
