MT. HERBERT GUN CLUB.
The Ht. Herbert Gun Club held a £lO Open Clay Bird Match at Teddington on Saturday afternoon, and drew a record attendance for the club of both shooters and spectators. The strong wind which was blowing mado the shooting difficult; but in spito of this some excellent performances were put np. In the chief event the only shooter to secure the possible was H. Blackler, who shot in every match during the afternoon, and never missed a bird. He broke a total of 48 on end, and his performance was particularly meritorious owing to tho difficult weather conditions. Afternoon tea was provided by the lady members of the clu'j.
