MR H. M. LUND.
RECITAL TO-MORJIOW. Including many of the greatest, yet most seldom heard, works of the pianoforte, the programme to be played by H. M. Lund at his recital in the Choral Hall tomorrow evening, is an outstanding one. Madame Winnie Frascr, mezzo-soprano, and Mr Harold Beck, 'cellist, are the assisting artists. Most notable on Mr Lund's programme are perhaps the two great sonatas—in D Minor (Beethoven) and B Minor (Chopin). Both arc well worthy of their composers, yet how seldom are they played in preference to the better-known "Moonlight" and "Funeral March" sonatas. Three Ktudes and a Nocturne of Chopin, three "Songs Without Words" (Mendelssohn), and Liadow's "Variations on a Glinka Theme" complete the programme. Booking is now open at The Bristol.
