FLOWER SHOW.

SOUTH MALVERN. The annual .show of the Souui Maivcr:i HonicuUural Society was held in tht % ci Icntunnel Hall ou Saturday, under verier*, weather conditions. On account of the Ion;; spell of dry weather in February, there was a considerable drop in entries for the flower section. This was more than counterbalanced by big increases in the vegetables ana cookery sections. In the former section interest was revived by the inclusion in schedule of a number of novice classes A nu\ per cent, increase in membership was also a feature of the recent show. Much o; tie credit for the revived interest is due to the excellent organising work of the secretary, Mr \\. Blight. The judges for the difk1 Ut Bect ions were:—Flowers, fruit, vese* tables and decorative. Mr \\\ .1. Hunuii. Lnnstchurch; cookery and homecraft, Mrs James R e id.
