AKHWANS BOMBED.
HEAVY CASUALTIES. (BY CABLE—PBI9S ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT.) ("THE TIMES.") LONDON, March 2. The Basra correspondent of "The Times" says that it is estimated that the Royal Air Force, by bombing and rifle fire, killed 800 Akhwan tribesmen in the last fortnight.
Their operations continue daily under enormous difficulties, owing to mirages and sandstorms.
