At the second reappearance at of Frederick Stewart, who u charged with the murder of Alfred Jitbb, the prosecutor read an alleged •Utement signed by Stewart to the efftttthat he first knocked at an adjoinflat, and, finding the occupiers at l0 ® e , next broke into Webb's. ■Ho was searching when he heard a T oice say: "Bun, Cliff!" : He called out: "Hands up!" taking .small pistol from his pocket.
