Through the wheels, of her bicycle skidding when crossing a tramway on the road between Kanieri and Hokitika, Miss Learmont, of Kanieri, was thrown heavily on the road and had her right elbow dislocated and minor injuries. Jubilee Ends. Under the ideal weather conditions which have prevailed during the Jubi : lee festival in commemoration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Borough of Greymouth, the celebrations were concluded yesterday. The chief attractions were the West Coast Fire Brigades' demonstration at McGinley Park and the Jubilee sports at Victoria Park.

Yesterday's express for Christchurch carried a large contingent of Jubilee visitors returning to their homes. The usual crowds which throng the business streets on Saturday evenings dispersed at an early hour, indicating that the people had grown weary under the strain of excitement of the eight davs' festival.

Victoria Park last evening was the popular rendezvous of the members of the younger generation, who patronised the amusements and side-shows in large numbers till the hour of midnight. The final curtain was rung, down on the celebrations by householders turning their clocks back from summer to standard time before returning to a well earned rest. The work of dismantling the bunting and decorations will be commenced to-morrow, when Greymouth residents will start the weeks' work under less picturesque but more normal conditions than have obtained during Jubilee Week.
