BOY KILLED.
RESULT OF MOTOR ACCIDENT. (PHESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) HAWERA, March 3. • All inquest , was held yesterday 011 Roy Edward J«»kson, six years of age, who was knocked down by a car on February 2nd, when running across tho road on the' outskirts of the town to meet his father, and died in hospital on February 26th. The evidence showed that the boy was running behind a stationary car on the road and suddenly appeared in the path of a moving ear, the driver, John R. Miller, a farmer, being unable to avoid the boy. The jury found that the boy di m! from injuries received through being accidentally- struck by a car driven by Miller.*
