BRIGHTON BATHS.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE PRESS. Sir,—l congratulate Mr H. Mellish upon offering £IOO for so fantastic a scheme as the baths at Brighton, but notice the reservation imposed, viz., that it is only available provided others do likewise. But Mr Mellish is particularly unfortunate' in his reference to St. Clair. Does he not know that Nature is responsible for the -bath there? They are not built up in the sand hills away from the sea. Why, at high tide, and in stormy weather waves break right over the rocks into the swimming pool. There is no comaprison whatever. T would advise Mr Mellish to investigate the plan, find out where the proposed bath is to go, and make a few other necessary enquiries before parting with that £lOO.—Yours, 6 ANTI-WASTE. March 3rd, 1928.
