MASTER CRIMINAL ESCAPES. DEN DISCOVERED BY POLICE. (BT CABLK-PBBSS ASSOCIATIOX-COPTI«G BT -> (AUSTRALIAH AND It Z CABLB ASSOCIATION-) (Received January 27th, 7.55 p.m-) PARIS, January 26. The poliee unearthed a veritable forgers' den in a lonely villa at \itry-sur-Seine. The master-forger, Andre Vila, fled, but his description has been circulated throughout the country, and his arrest is only a matter of time. Andre took elaborate precautions to hide his identity, and built up three different personalities by means of false papers. Among the discoveries in the den were fifty forged Bank of England five-pound notes, a great number of French t>ufranc, and American and Venezuelan notes, together with acids, dyes, and engraving tools. , The raid was the sequel to the arrest of two men in Bheims in the act oi changing false notes.
