A curious crowd, which, coming and going continuously, numbered at times between 200 and 300 people, collected one night last week about a barber's shop in Regent street, Sydney, before which were stacked on the footpath household and shop furniture, fittings, and personal belongings. She said that they had no place to which to go or to take their belongings to, and so through the long night they kept vigil, while the child slept beneath the table.
