CLUB-SWINGING.

AN ENDURANCE TEST. Charles Buckett, the champion clahswinger of the Dominion, commenced an attempt at 11 o'clock last night to beat the record for endurance elub-swinginc, and will endeavour to keep going until 11 o'clock on Saturday night. The clubs he is using are ordinary 61b Indian clubs. The feat will entail seventy-two houTs' swinging without rest or stop, under world's championship rules. The attempt is being supervised by an official referee and a committee. There was a large attendance at the Choral Hall last night to witness the start of the test, and until 11 o'clock a flno programme of music, dancing, and song was provided. Tomorrow night, which is considered will be the most critical part of the three days' teat, concerts and various entertainments will be held all night.
