VARIETY AND INTEREST. As usual, there, was an impressive number of stand and tent exhibits, consisting of farm and household products, most of winch attracted attention throughout the day, and the display of goods manufactured in the Dominion showed to what an extent secondary industries are being developed in New Zealand. Three-entries were received m respect of timber and gates from two exhibitors. Last year there were hve exhibits. A wide range of subjects was embraced in the photography sections, ijic-luding laillscapos, figure studies, farm scenes, marine and shipping scenes and open classes, the general standard being good. Altogether there were 30 entries in the photographic section. - Art, art handicraft and stencilling attracted 95 entries, and a good number of the exhibits were meritorious and interesting, being well worth inspection.
