The price asked was £475. An option was secured, and the proposal submitted to the .Committee, which, taking into consideration all the circumstances, approved of the purchase. In order to exercise the option, which expired on Nqvember 4th K the matter was referred to the Standing Committee for the purchase of Sub-station Sites, and the purchase approved. A deposit has, therefore, been paid in order to secure the property." The report was adopted.
