An Englishman left a bag containing 500.000 francs in cash in a tranicar at Marseilles. The conductor subsequently restored the money to the owner, but refused the reward of 200 francs offered, him. Over £9,250.000,000 is invested in tb& world's. railways, Europe accounting for half this capital.
