CHILD DROWNED.
FELL IN MILL DAltf
A child, Charles M. N Clark, whose parents reside at Lincoln road, was found drowned on Saturday The child was a son of Mr Charles Clark, the miller at Woods Mill It was drowned in the old mill dam, now used as a fish pond, and situated near the Imperial Bowling Green and Suet Lawn The child was present when the players had afternoon tea but later was found by Mr Clark floating in the pond. •„,»■„„♦ Artificial respiration was earned .out under Dr. T. L. Crooke's direction for an hour and a. half! but without .rail At an inquest held yesterday by Mr H K Young. Coroner, a verdict of accidental death by drowning was returned.
