SHIPPING NOTES

The Cygnet is to sail to-night with eargo tor Kaikoura, and Wellington. The Kennedy was due last night from Foxton, and is to sail this afternoon -with cargo for Wellington and Foxtnn. The Wairau loads here to-day for Blenheim direct, and should get away this afternoon.

The Katoa arrived here on Saturdav morning from Wellington, and is loading for Auckland direct. She is expected to sail this ovening.

The Kahika is due from Dunedin and Timaru to-morrow, and loads for Napier and Gisborne. She sails via Wellington. The John is timed to load here to-morrow for Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth.

The Storm should be here on Wednesday from, the south to load for 'Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Calm is expecied from the north on Weduesday. She is to sail the same day for Bluff, Dunedin. and Timaru. The Trcmeadow is to sail today for Timaru and Dunedin to complete, discharge of her New York cargo. ' The Kamo arrived yesterday from Auckland direct. She will discharge fruit and general cargo to-day, and sails this afternoon for Dunedin. The Tofara is due on Wednesday frr.m Timaru to discharge a part cargo of cement. She takes iu cargo for Wellington and New Plymouth. The Port Darwin was an arrival yesterday from Bluff. She loads to-day for Lyndon, and is to sail to-morrow for Auckland.

■ The Tougariro arrived from Wellington yesterday. She has cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool for discharge. The Kemuera, according to a radio message, was due in the stream at Wellington at midnight last night. She will berth this morning to disembark North Island passengers and discharge mails, and will sail this •afternoon for Lyttelton. The Turakinß. after loading at Tort Chalmers, will load at »w Plymouth. Auckland. Napier. Wanganui, Wellington, and Lyttelton. is to sail from" this port on th» ISlh December for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool. The West Ivan is due at Auckland on Friday next from Lns Anjeles. The steamer Buccinum sailed from Tarakan, Borneo, on October 24th, for Wellington, and is due at that port on November 17rh.
