WHIPPET RACING.
It lias now been definitely decided that the New Zealand Whippet Racing Cup Meeting will be held at the Now Brighton Racecourse oh Tuesday, November Bth, at 6.80 pm. (Summer Time). This meeting was originally arranged- for the previous day, but as no fewer than ten Of the eighteen doss nominated were to be competitors Bt the inaugural at Palmerston North, it was considered advisable to post-date tne cup meeting. Acceptances for the big event olose with the hon. secretary, (Mr F. E. Biltcliff) next Saturday, when nominations, are also to be received for two other ovents to ho contested at tho cup meeting#
