SHIPPING NOTES. The Kamona should arrive to-morrow from Portland and Wellington. She takes in cargo here for New Plymouth. The West Henshaw, from- Pacific uoast ports of U.S.A., is due at Lyttelton tomorrow via Auckland and Wellington. She is to sail on Thursday for Dunedin. Tho Breeze should arrive to-day from the Bouth to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The. Waikouaiti, from Newcastle and Sydney, via Dunedin and Tiraarn, is due here to-morrow. She discharges, and then loads for Sydney direct. The John is now expected to-morrow from Wellington. She is to sail in the afternoon for Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. The Cygnet is due to>night from Kaikoura and Wellington. She is to sail on the return trip to-morrow night. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Seigneur is to sail to-day for Timaru and Dunedin to complete discharge and to load. The lonic is expected to .fcail this afternoon for Wellington to continue loading for London. The Calm, due to-morrow from Wellington. is to sail in the afternoon for Bluff.

The Storm should be here to-morrow from the north She loads for Dunedin and Tiraarn. The Kahika is timed to load here on Thursday for Napier and Gisborne. She sails via Wellington. The Kauri is due at Lyttelton to-morrow from Newcastle.

The Riuiutaka should be back at Lyttelton from the south about Friday nest to continue loading for Home. The Waitomo is to sail to-day for Newcastle. - It is hoped to dispatch the Wingatui tonight for Auckland direct. The Manuka has been recommissioned, and left Lyttelton yesterday for Wellington and Melbourne, and is in command of Captain W. Martin. The following are his deck, officers:—Chief, Mr A. T. Willson. chief officer of the Waitomo, is at present on sick leave. His place has been taken by Mr G. W. Godfrey. Mr T. Dee has rejoined the Corinna as chief officer, relieving Mr G. W. Kent for instructions. .

Cabled advice has been received that the Riberia is to sail from Montreal on August 25th for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Brisbane, and Sydney. The Huntingdon has been delayed at Auckland owing to bad weather, and she is now to sail on Thursday afternoon for London, Avonmouth. Glasgow, and Liverpool.
