The Linthwaite Council has decided to support a resolution of the Malvern Council viewing with the greatest concern the increasing number of fatalities caused by pillion riding, and urging the British Government to take drastic steps to minimise the danger by means of prohibitive legislation. Holding that five persons living in one room was not overcrowding in these days, the Willesden magistrate refused to make an ejectment order.
