NEW ZEALAND TEAM.

SELWYN CLUB'S REPRESENTATIVES.

The members of the Selwyn Hookey Grab met last evening to farewell four of their number, Messrs S. Bell, H. Hore, A. Mahone'y, and B. Morris, who leave by this ferry 'steamer to-morrow evening- to join the jtfew Zealand hockey representative team which ,is to tour Australia. The chairman (Mr W. H. Down) expressed the appreciation which the members felt at the distinction brought to the Sel*yn Club .in that bo many members had been awarded the highest New Zea'and honours. It jivaa a record of which any club would be proud. . On behalf of the club members, he presented each of the New Zealand representetiveu with a New Zealand scarf. The four recipients of the gifta suitably responded.

. AUSTRALIAN ITINERARY. STDNEY Jnly 19. Tie New Zealand hockey team will meet the Muntroon Military College team on August 3rd, the Central Association team at Goulbnrn on August 6th. Kenmore on August Bth, and Crookwell on August 10th. The team'i visit to South Australia apparently has been abandoned.

WIN FOR ENGLISH LADIES. (Received July 19th 10.10 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 19.. At Tenterfield, the English ladies' team defeated Tenterfield by 8 goals to 0.
