LORRY FALLS OVER BANK.
WORKMAN CRUSHED TO DEATH! (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAH.) MASTFJtTON, June 20. John McKenzie, a single man, aged £4, with no relatives in th 9 Dominion, was killed this afternoon through being crushed under a motor-lorry, which fell down a bank on Hinakura Hill, south of Martinborough. McKenzie was a county employee, and, in company with a workmate, was being given a ride on a motor-truck driven by a youth named Le Fort. While negotiating the Bill, a back wheel struck the edge of a culvert, and the machine headed over the side of the road, falling about twenty feet. The driver and the other passenger were thrown clear, but McKenzie was crushed beneath one of the back wheels.
