SHIPPING NOTES. The Wingatui is. to complete loading here to-day for Auckland, and sails via Wellington. The" Cygnet is timed to sail from Lyttelton to-night with cargo for Kaikoura and Wellington. The Waipiata is due this morning from Auckland and Wellington, and sails this evening for the south. She is due back at the end of the week, when she will load for Auckland. The Karetu is expected to-day from Sydney, via Bluff, Dunedin, and Tjmaru. It is hoped to dispatch her to-night for Sydney direct. The Totara is now expected to-morrow from Tarakohe with cement. She 53113 later for Nelson, taking cargo. The Opihi i 3 due to-morrow from Timaru to load for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Westport. The Kahika should be here to-morrow from-the-south. She is to'sail in the afternoon, after loading for Napier end Gisborae, for Wellington. The Calm is now due at Lyttelton tomorrow from Timaru to take in cargo for Wellington and Wanganui. The Pakura is to load to-day for Wellington, Gisborne, and Waikokopu. The John is timed to load here on Friday for Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. The City of Kimberiey is due at Lyttelton to-day from Wellington to continue discharge of her New York cargo. The Kurow is due here on Tuesday next from Auckland and Wellington, and sails the same day for Dunedin. The Kaino is expected from southern ports on Sunday.next, and she loads the follow- j ing day for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne.
