HILL-CLIMBING CONTEST. A large crowd of motor-cycling enthusiasts was present on Saturday oftornoon at Hoon Hay, where the Pioneer Club's annual hillclimbing contest was held tinder ideal conditions. The results were as follows: Light-weight Class. —G. Hockley (Har-ley-Davidson) 1, W. Thomas (A.J.S.) 2. Timo 15 8-ssec. Middle-weight Class. —G. Hockley (HarleyDavidson) 1, W. Thomas (A.J.S.) 2. Time 15sec. Unlimited Class. —G. Hockley (HarleyDavidson) 1, W. Thomas (A.J.S.), 2. Time 15scc—a record for the courso. MAROUBRA EVENTS. (Received Fobruary 13th, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Fobruary 13. At tho Maroubra SpccdwajT, Spencer Strat(on won tho flying 500, beating Brown and Pomeroy, has average speed being 86J miles and hour. Stratton also broko one record for 3J horse-power machines, travelling 93 miles an hour.
