THRILLING DRAMA. . QUEEN'S THEATRE, TO-DAY, Stories of mortgages are always full of exciting and sensational events, a goodly number of villains, and tho inevitable grim hero who foils them all. Such a story is "On tho Stroke o! Three," which is to bo shown at (he Queen's Theatre this weet. and is one cf unusual strength and entertainment value, with human interest and bright comedy to give an added zest to tbing9. It is a succession of stirring situations, which gather speed and force as the drama unwinds, and the ever-interesting incident of contrast is an important attribute in the story. The tale retains all tho virile quality and dramatic interest which characterised it in its literary form, and proves anew the value of good material in making a good picture. Built on a story of more than ordinary appeal, brilliantly directed oftd acted by a cast of splendid talent, it is ono of the best pictures which has been exhibited in recent months. In the leading roles Madge Bellamy, Kenneth Harlan, and Mary Curr, all playing their parts with admirable skill, "Hearts of the West," starring William Fairbanks, in tho second picture, a film which is just as thrilling as its name suggests, fulj of action, intrigue, and suspense, with the necessary human interest to lend it the touch of intelligent reality. Fairbanks does some cool and daring acting in this picture, which will po to make him as popular an our-door artist as some of his more famous colleagues.
