FINAL PENNANT -MATCH. from the Christcburch and Edgevare Club*, tlie finalists in tho pcst-fec-tional play of the Canterbury Centre's pennant competition, met at the St. Albans green on Saturday afternoon to decide the premier fixture. The green was fast and true, and tho weather perfect. The play, which was exciting at times, was watched by many spectators. Canterbury won by 0 panics to U (W points to 51). TROPHIES PRESENTED. At the conclusion of the match tlio pennant and tlio Manning Cup were i resented to the Canterbury Club. In the ataence of the president of the Centre, Mr H. B. Onkov, and the vice-president, Mr J. Good, Mr E. \Y\ Wado called on Mr D. Wood to present the pennant and cup. Mr Wood congratulated the winners, stilting tnut they deserved their win. Mr J. A. Redpath received the trophies on behalf of the Canterbury Club. Gibbs Jordan, ana D McKav, each with one life, met, and a ve'rv closelv contested game ended in favour of Gibbs Jordan by two points. The score card showed: Jordan 25, McKay -3. lne semi-final between Wood, who has au unbeaten record, and Gibbs Jordan was commenced. Should Jordan beat Wood in this game, the same two pairs will meet again in the final. The first occasion upon which a bowline club outside tho Ashburton County contested a natch against the recently-formed Allenton Club was on Saturday, when a visit was received from Kaiapol. Allenton registered a win by 00 points to 47. The West Coast bowling tournament, in which over one hundred conteitants took part on the Runangn and Greymouth greens in ideal weather, waa concluded on Baturday. Tho tournament was foaturad by the oustanding performance of the Westport Club, which won the single*, pairs, nml rinks championships. Following were tho results:—

Pairs Final—Levy and Blaxall (Wostporl) 20 bent West and Keen (Edgeware) 12. Champion of Champions Singles—First round: Harrison (Westport) beat Mercor (Grey), Wilton (Hokitika) beat Loach (Runnnga).
