MAN MISSING.
CLOTHES FOUND ON BANK OP WAIMAKARIRI. At about 8.30 on Thursday night, a nun named Percy Timms, of Bletaoe avenue, Spreydon, an upholsterer by trade, left hi» house on a bicycle and did not return. Yesterday at noon his bievcle was found on the bank of the Wa'imakariri river near the Kaiapoi bridge, and later his hat and vest were found between White's bridge and the railway bridge. Fears are entertained for his safety as he had not been in good health of late. The name, Timms, U identical with that of the New Brighton girl who disappeared some weeks ago, and has not jet been found, but there is no relation between the two people. The Kaiapoi police dragged the river yesterday, but up to last evening there ha I been no result.
