Robertson was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment- for bigamy. He was to have married a third girl to-mor-row. [Robert Robertson, u New Zealandcr, was committed for trial on a charge of bigamy, in Sydney, in .December. One woman gave "evidence that she married Robertson in 3019. Another said she married him in October. 1025. In each case the witness said she was aged 1" at the time of the ninrriage. Some months ago Robertson announced his intention of attempting to fly across the Tusman Sea to Australia, but the trip did not take place. Instead, Robertson went by steamer to Sydney. He called upon' Captain Hughes, of' the New SouH; Wales Aero Club, and in the course of their interview his bona fides were questioned. According to the statement of Captain Hughes, Robertson then sprang through the window, which was on the third storey of the building, and fell to the top of the street verandah. He was removed to the Svdney Hospital.]
