NEWSPAPER TAX.
MR LANG'S ALTERNATIVE. (BT CABL*—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPIMOfiT.) (AUSTtALIiK AVD H.t. CABLB ASSOCIATION) (Received February 10th, 8.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10. In the Assembly, replying to a question, Mr Lang said he would get the newspaper lax by other means if the process embodied in the Newspaper Taxation Act was vetoed by the High Court. It is stated that Mr Lang would introduce a tax on advertisements.
