MOTOR COLLISION.
DRIVER AND PASSENGER INJURED. {PSZSS ASSOCIATION TZLZaSAK.) ItOTORUA, February 10. A head-on collision between n motorbus owned by .Mr Bert Oakes and driven by Mr Tom Calderwood, and a motor-car own<sd and driveu by Mr Whitfield, of Whitfield's Rotorua-Ois-borne motor service, took place in Fenton street at 10 p.m. yesterday. Both engines were completely wrecked, and the chassis &nd bodies also much shattered. The driver of the bus received minor injuries. The driver of the car, Mr Whitfield, and a passenger, Miss Morrison, were removed to hospital, the forme:- suffering from concussion and the latter cuts and shock. Another occupant escaped. The bu» was empty at the time.
